A Wellbeing Journey

In 2021-2022, Impact Visionary developed a program funded by Ford Foundation’s BUILD program to support the wellbeing of social justice organizations around the world in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The program offered a range of engagements in English and Spanish: 

Co-Design Sessions: identified topics, tools, structure, and approach for the program’s offerings. Grantees found these helpful and requested toolkits they could adapt and use with their staff.

  • CDS #1: an exploration of individual blocks & barriers to wellbeing, ideal vision, and tools needed

  • CDS #2: how to use an organizational framework to address org wellbeing and identify challenges, strengths & assets

  • CDS #3: meaningful ways to engage as members of a shared community (what has worked, what has not worked, etc.)

Experiential Workshops & Practice Labs: featured insights into wellbeing topics led by guest facilitators and teachers from around the world honoring different traditions and perspectives. See resources developed below.

Wellbeing Cohorts: smaller community spaces for participants interested in going deeper and further developing their personal and organizational wellbeing.

1-on-1 Coaching: 30-minute personalized coaching and accompaniment sessions for attendees of the program’s offerings.

Wellbeing Challenge: a 6-week long series of fun, virtual prompts focused on different topics and practices to engage people in a personal wellbeing practice. See the challenge below.

Calm: a 1-year premium subscription to the app’s diverse resources (guided meditations, music playlists, masterclasses, etc.).
